Owning this business has never been about the money for me, it has always been about the client and their dream. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

I love BRB because you don’t just feel like an employee, you feel like family. I get to talk to brides everyday as the gowns come in and alterations begin and end, it keeps me connected to them. Getting to try on gowns and help with our social media is a fun bonus.

After 50 years in accounting I retired in 2019….but not really. As Jans mother I was informed I could never really retire, so I happily work with this group. What started in 2005 as a mom helping her kid with her accounting work has blossomed into a second act for me.

To see them not only truly in love with their gowns but with themselves, it is an honor for me. I have been a seamstress more than 40 years and worked with many couture designers that I loved but this is my home.

I love sewing, it is my passion. I started sewing when I was a child making dresses for my dolls by hand. I learned from my mom and eventually went to school for dressmaking. For over 40 years I have been making women feel beautiful.
